Hanse Boat Race 2012

 Spring is in the air and our rowing teams have been training hard to prepare for their annual battle on the Aussenalster in Hamburg. This year will see Jacobs University's womens, back-up and eight teams fight their opponents at HSBA for the fifth time in as many years. For their rowing competition they have chosen one of the oldest race courses in Europe — the Hamburg Aussenalster.

Last year Jacobs University won the back-up team race, the womens competition and the main race in which the male eight teams also came out victorious for Jacobs.

In February, both universities already tested their skills and stamina on land, competing on rowing machine during the Ergocup held at Jacobs University in Bremen.
