Accreditation

Upon its foundation, Jacobs University Bremen gGmbH has been state-approved in accordance with §122(1) of the Higher Education Act of the City State of Bremen. In 2001, Jacobs University Bremen has been institutionally accredited by the German Council of Science and Humanities. This accreditation has been renewed in 2008. The accreditation by the German Council of Science and Humanities is based on quality benchmarks in research and education as well as certain financial and structural prerequisites.
