Undergraduate Program in Biotechnology

Biotechnology is an exciting field of science that enhances the quality of our lives by defining ways in which new biological discoveries are translated into realities. As a novel interdisciplinary program it is composed of various disciplines including chemical engineering, genetic engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, and molecular biology. Its curriculum is meticulously designed based on the relevance of current life sciences research and demand of industries. The objective of the biochemical engineering undergraduate program is to provide students with the knowledge and skills required to pursue a professional career or to continue their studies towards an advanced degree. The program is divided into three parts: a) Genetic engineering, b) Bioprocess engineering and c) Chemical engineering.
