The Ballet & Contemporary Dance Club was created in fall 2011 by two second year students, and is therefore a student-led club. However, these dance classes had been taking place since the year before and it was because the student's interest that the club was born.
 

Our Purpose?  

We want to provide members of the Jacobs community a space where they can experience and improve both artistically and technically in classical and contemporary dance. We invite both experienced and unexperienced dancers to join us to express, improvise, perform, learn, relax, share, and most importantly, have fun!

Our Goals?

We want to bring forward classical and contemporary dance in Jacobs both to audience and performers so that they have access to an interactive and enthraling experience with these genres of dance. Throughout the semester we will be offering classes thrice a week and with those who are interested we will prepare in order to perform  in Dancestoned dance show and Spotlight talent show.

Meeting Times:

Wednesdays: 8pm 10pm
Thursdays: 10am-Noon
Saturdays: 10am- Noon
