Events on campus are primarily student-driven. Students come up with ideas, take the initiative to pursue them, and then plan, manage, and make them happen.

But you are not alone!
Event planning is one of the prime responsibilities of the Campus Activities Team who will help guide you through the challenges and complexities you will need to conquer to plan a successful event.

Get experience first
Learn about what is already happening on campus - maybe your idea for an event already exists. Participate on the organizational teams of existing events before you try to create your own - you will learn a lot of what all goes into planning an event.

Event Planning 101
Are you ready for the maze of policies, applications, budgets, facilities, funding, purchasing, promoting, and many other things you may never have thought of? If you are brave enough to be a leader of tomorrow today and attempt the exciting and hard work of staging an event, come talk to the Campus Activities Team!
