Jacobs University is a research-orientedstate-accredited university with a broad portfolio of pre-degreeundergraduate and graduate study programs from the natural and social sciencesengineering and economics. All programs are taught in English. Extensive extracurricular activities support and strengthen our students’ personal development.

At Jacobs University, class sizes are small and for each student a professor acts as a personal mentor and academic advisor. Students are actively involved in research from their first year of study. In research and teaching, our faculty members follow a transdisciplinary approach, addressing issues from multiple perspectives.

Jacobs University prides itself on its international perspective. Consistent with this outlook, the University’s Corporate Stipend Program brings companies and international talents together in a unique program for students with high potential. Companies taking part in the program support future employees during a three-year bachelor's or a two-year master's degree program. From the first semester onward, companies cultivate close, ongoing relations with students throughout the program.
