U.S. Ambassador John C. Kornblum Visits IUB

[ Dec 12, 2000]  On Monday the U.S. Ambassador to Germany, John C. Kornblum, paid a visit to International University Bremen. The Ambassador was accompanied by the U.S. Consul General in Hamburg, Christopher Lynch and the new Consul of the U.S. Consular Agency in Bremen, Donna Fock. After a walk around the campus, IUB President Dr. Fritz Schaumann informed the Ambassador about the latest developments at IUB. The US Ambassador has been a long-standing strong supporter of IUB and even attended IUB's founding in February 1999.
