Bremer Landesbank renews its support of International University Bremen

At the close of 2001, the Bremer Landesbank contributed an additional 1 million DM (511,292 EUR) to its non-profit foundation. International University Bremen (IUB) is one of the primary benefactors of the bank's foundation, which now has a capitalization of more than 3 million EUR.

[ Jan 07, 2002]  This past year the Bremer Landesbank Foundation (Stiftung) provided IUB with more than 100,000 EUR in funding that could be used for current operations.

The Bremer Landebank Foundation was founded in 1999; its primary purpose is the support of International University Bremen. IUB President Fritz Schaumann expressed his gratefulness today for the Bremer Landesbank's generosity and continuing support of IUB's programs and goals.
