Chairman of Deutsche Shell meets IUB students

   

On October 12, the lecture series "Business Leaders meet IUB" will be continued. IUB’s Office of Career Services offers students the opportunity to meet with Deutsche Shell chairman Kurt Döhmel.

[ Oct 12, 2005]  Kurt Döhmel, Chairman of the Management Board of Deutsche Shell Holding GmbH, will be presenting on: "Energy Scenarios up to 2050".

Deutsche Shell Holding GmbH is a subsidiary of the Royal Dutch/ Shell Group and a worldwide operating energy and chemical enterprise with the divisions petroleum processing and distribution, gas gathering and oil production, gas distribution, electricity trade as well as renewable energy sources.

The lecture will be held in the Conference Room and starts at 7.30 h. It is followed by a discussion and a small reception.

The lecture series “Business leaders meet IUB” is a platform for exchange between industry & commerce and students. Professionals from various industrial sectors and professions are invited to campus to lecture on a topic related to their every day business. The lecturers are also asked to discuss their own professional background and career path. Students are invited to inform themselves further about the presented topic itself and the profession, industrial area or organization to which the presenter(s) belong, in the discussion following the lecture.
