Award for IUB magazine blue print
German Rectors' Conference and Die ZEIT award Germany's best academic magazines

   

On November 22, the German Rectors' Conference and the weekly magazine Die Zeit recognised the best magazines offered by German academic institutions. More than 100 magazines competed. Among the award-winning magazines was IUB's own "blue print ".

[ Nov 23, 2005]  The finalists consisted of four universities: Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin), Technische Universität Berlin (TU Berlin), IUB and Ludwig Maximilian Universität München (LMU). The jury awarded top quality journalistic print products and/or publication concepts that addressed both topics of interest and the target groups of academia . The 10.000 euros first prize was won by the TU Berlin. The second place was shared by IUB and FU Berlin; Munich's LMU finished third. IUB's magazine blue print was praised for its versatile and coherent choice of topics as well as its graphic quality.

blue print
blue print is IUB's biannual magazine. While its' central theme is IUB, blue print also addresses themes beyond the campus. Articles are written in English or German. blue print is a good opportunity for IUB faculty to present their research highlights to the general public. It is distributed throughout Germany.
