Lecture by Sotheby’s representative Dr. Philipp Herzog von Württemberg

As part of the "Business Leaders meet IUB" professional lectures Dr. Philipp Herzog von Württemberg, Executive Manager of Sotheby’s Germany and France will speak on "Sotheby´s - From Passion to Business". The lecture will take place on Monday, February 20th, 2006 in the ICC Conference Room at 7.30 pm.

[ Feb 17, 2006]  Dr. Philipp Herzog von Württemberg, Board of Director, Senior Directors, is the Managing Director of Sotheby’s Germany since July 1998. He joined Sotheby’s Continental Furniture department in London in 1996 where he successfully completed his training as an auctioneer. Before joining Sotheby’s, he has completed his Master of Art at the Tübinger Eberhard-Karls-University in 1993 and graduated in 1997. Philipp Württemberg’s contacts comprise main museum curators, dealers and private collectors everywhere in Germany.

The popular lecture series is a platform for exchange between industry and commerce and students. Professionals from diverse industrial sectors and professions are invited to campus to lecture on a topic related to their every day business. The lecturers are also asked to discuss their own professional background and career path. IUB students are invited to inform themselves further about the presented topic itself and the profession, industrial area or organization to which the presenter(s) belong, in the discussion following the lecture.
