Multiliteracy and Multiculturalism - An Opportunity for Europe?

From June 21 to 24, 2006, around 180 experts of higher education and secondary education as well as school administration staff will hold a meeting at IUB to explore "Multiliteracy and the European Educational Agenda". The conference is organized in cooperation with the University Bremen. Main focus lies on the effects of global migration processes on European school systems.

One of the initiators of the conference, the INFORM institute of the University of Bremen, as creator of the European-wide network LANGSCAPE, developed into an international point of intersection in the sector of multilingualism research and scientific navigation in bilingual education
