The first company to start the fall lecture series "Business Leaders meet IUB" will be Weber Shandwick, one of the world's leading public relations and communications management firms. Mr. Herbert Stoffels, Managing Director Corporate Communications of Weber Shandwick Deutschland GmbH, will present a talk entitled "Challenges of Global PR for international operating companies".

Business Leaders Meet IUB |

The popular lecture series is a platform for exchange between industry and commerce and students. Professionals from diverse industrial sectors and professions are invited to campus to lecture on a topic related to their every day business. The lecturers are also asked to discuss their own professional background and career path. IUB students are invited to inform themselves further about the presented topic itself and the profession, industrial area or organization to which the presenter(s) belong, in the discussion following the lecture.
For our students the lecture series is a chance to expand their horizon beyond the boundaries of their courses. They also can find out more about graduate opportunities in the company. Usually a personnel representative joins the speaker: For companies it is a great way to get to know IUB students.
