Commerzbank AG Representative visits IUB

   

On Wednesday, October 11, 2006, IUB students will have the chance to meet with Wolfgang Hartmann, Member of the Board of Managing Directors of Commerzbank AG. Taking part in this fall’s lecture series “Business Leaders meet IUB”, Hartmann will speak about the “Value of Banks’ Risk Management in a Changing and Volatile Business World”.

[ Oct 10, 2006]  With a total of 35,000 employees in more than 40 countries Commerzbank is the second largest bank in Germany and one of the leading financial institutions in Europe. The Frankfurt-based company offers competent service and financial solutions to both private and business costumers and ranks among the Top 100 Trend Employers in Germany. Here, it has a network of more than 1,000 branches. Core business markets are Western, Central and Eastern Europe. In Asia and the US Commerzbank is present in the most important business centers.

In addition to an interesting lecture and talk with the bank’s representative, IUB students are also invited to inform themselves about internships and career opportunities: Commerzbank recruits for a variety of administrative functions such as Human Resources, Marketing, PR and Sales as well as for the finance sector. Furthermore they are looking for Engineers, Computer Scientists and Mathematicians with an interest for Economics.

The lecture by Wolfgang Hartmann will take place in IUB’s Conference Room at the Campus Center at 7.30 p. m.

The lecture series “Business Leaders meet IUB” is a platform for exchange between industry & commerce and students set up by IUB’s Office of Career Services. During the fall semester, IUB students can meet chairmen from various industries.
