Adecco Institute on Campus

   

On January 22, 2007, a high ranking international delegation of the Swiss human resources company Adecco will hold consultations on collaboration possibilities with members of the Jacobs University’s leadership as well as with scientists of the university’s Jacobs Center for Lifelong Learning and Institutional Development.

[ Jan 22, 2007]  Under the lead of Peter Siderman, managing director of the newly founded London-based Adecco Institute, and Wolfgang Clement, member of the institute’s advisory board, nine Adecco delegates in total from Germany, France, Switzerland, and the UK will participate in the consultations.

They will meet Joachim Treusch, President of Jacobs University, Ursula Staudinger, University Vice President and Dean of the Jacobs Center for Lifelong Learning and Institutional Development, as well as with the Jacobs Center’s faculty.

Adecco is the largest human resources company in the world, based in Glattbrugg, Switzerland. The company was formed in 1996 as a result of the merger of the French company Ecco and the Swiss Adia Interim, and currently has over 6600 offices in over 75 countries worldwide.

The Adecco Institute, which was opened in October 2006, is a research institution of the Adecco company. Its main aim is fundamental as well as market research in all relevant fields related to workforce and labor – topics that intersect on many levels with the research, consulting, and teaching activities of the Jacobs Center.
