From Tuesday January 23 until Friday January 26, Jacobs University is hosting a workshop for parallel programming with MPI and OpenMP. [ Jan 24, 2007] More than 40 participants from Alfred Wegener Institute, Jacobs University and University Bremen are attending lectures and exercises about modern programming methods on parallel computer. The workshop is organized by the Bremen Competence Center for High Performance Computing (BremHLR) and the Computational Laboratory for Analysis, Modeling and Visualization (CLAMV). Instructors come from the North German High Performance Computing Center (HLRN, Zuse Institute Berlin).
