On Monday 19, 2007 the series of lectures “Business Leaders meet Jacobs University” continues with the attendance of Axel Tütken, managing director of Maersk Deutschland A/S & Co. KG. The CEO will visit the campus to speak about experiences and every day activities concerning his industry. Thereby Jacobs University students will get the chance to learn more about specific career opportunities and job-related developments.

The A.P. Moller - Maersk Group is one of the world´s largest shipping companies of Danish origin and has offices in over 125 countries with global headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark. Established in 1904, the traditional company achieved sustained success and is today listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange with the largest combined market capitalization of the stock exchange. Therewith the constantly developing firm ranks among the leaders in the logistic sector. Maersk, who employs more than 110,000 jobholders, is mainly recognized for its wide range of activities in business industries such as energy, shipbuilding, retail and manufacturing.
