Cosmopolitan guests on campus – Jacobs University welcomes young adults from 19 nations

On Friday, April 27, 70 students who take part in the “Up with People” program will visit Jacobs University. The international educational organization “Up with People” offers a 22-week series of several activities that make a positive impact all over the world for young people. The participants of "Cast A 2007" will stay in Bremen for one week and will be working on several volunteer projects. On Friday they will meet on campus.

[ Apr 24, 2007]  For one day the international peers will meet with the Jacobs University community for a “Cast Activity Day”. Arriving in the morning the guests will first be introduced to the special concept of Jacobs University. After attending a workshop in Intercultural Communication and Arts organized by the university´s Counseling Center the visitors get the opportunity to connect with different cultures and lifestyles during an “Educational Time Up” with students from Jacobs University. Various sports games and hot topics discussions in the afternoon complete the diverse agenda.
