ECONOS 2010 Proceedings

Dear Participants of the ECW/ECONOS 2010 Conference,

it is a pleasure to announce a further special issue ECW/ECONOS of the Journal of Raman Spectroscopy. We greatly acknowledge the ongoing support of our field by the Wiley editors. 

Up to now, about 19 contributions are scheduled for submission. Potential contributors who have not yet submitted a tentative title are kindly requested to inform the guest-editor as soon as possible. Please note that the significant increase of the journal's impact factor and, as a consequence, the generally enhanced interest to publish in JRS requires a tight planning of this special issue. To allocate sufficient time for reviewing until the end of 2009 and publication early in 2010, a strict deadline for submission of the contributions is fixed on the following date:

October 15, 2010

As for the previous (ECONOS) issues, the submitted papers will be subject to the usual rigorous refereeing process that has ensured the high quality of the special issues. The authors are asked to submit their manuscript directly to the Journal of Raman Spectroscopy by uploading their papers to the manuscriptcentral of Scholarone at:  http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/jrs

Please check the box for the special issue (1) and mention "ECONOS" for the name of the special issue (2). In addition, specify one of the editors (see below) for your submission (3). Under "Author Preferred Reviewers" you may also mention the names of colleagues who you think could serve as referees for your work (4).
