OUR VISION
The Global Production Logistics Workgroup strives to develop solutions for complex and networked manufacturing and distribution systems. Within its synthesis of fundamental, applied, and industrial research it creates an inspiring environment for tailor-made academic education.
OUR MISSION
Our research in logistics engineering is traditionally concentrated on manufacturing planning and control. We extent our scope by interdisciplinary approaches such as bio-inspired methods. This allows us to further implement innovative applications in industry. We encourage the professional and personal growth of our multi-national students through individual academic advising and tutoring.
Our workgroup is organized in two teams that focus on different research interests.
