International Logistics Management and Engineering (MSc Program)

International Logistics Management and Engineering (MSc Program)

Logistics is certainly one of the oldest disciplines, matching supply and demand if they are miles apart. Over centuries this was a practical skill, sometimes an art, but now it is also a science involving investigation, research and development in order to provide excellence in knowledge, methods and tools.

Logistics has many faces, be it a global cool chain, or a restaurant chain, the organization of the Olympic games or a pop concert as well as the supply of manufacturing firms and all the way to the distribution of the finished products.

The course structure of the two year program is based on a four-pillar model, emphasizing equally techniques and technologies, economies and management, information and communication technologies (ICT) as well as languages and soft skills.

The program was designed and implemented in close cooperation with the industry and international partner universities. Thus, students will benefit from broad exposure to »real world« challenges and academic excellence.

Students wanting to focus on research will have the opportunity to enter a PhD-program after the first year, hence achieving their goal in an integrated approach on a fast track. An executive program is under preparation to provide the same opportunities to those unable to leave their jobs for a longer period of time.
