On route to an education forum in Lisbon, high school counselors from across the globe have made a stop-over at Jacobs University to learn more about the campus.

November 14, 2011

Ten international high school counselors are currently visiting Jacobs University to find out more about learning and living on the Jacobs campus.

They made the stop-over on route to a forum on International Admission & Guidance organized by the Council of International School (CIS) and taking place in Lisbon on November 16 and 17.

Hailing from high schools in Switzerland, China, Macedonia, South Africa, Canada, India, Brazil, Azerbaijan and Luxembourg, the counselors arrived on Saturday (November 13) and spent the weekend getting to know the Jacobs Admissions team, the Jacobs campus facilities and the city of Bremen.

On Monday (November 14) they are attending presentations from the School of Engineering and Science and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, will meet Jacobs students and College Masters and also visit three lectures on 'European Integration', 'Statistics for Biologists' and 'General Inorganic Chemistry' to get a taste of academic life at Jacobs.
