Lecture: ‘Den inneren Schweinehund an die Leine nehmen’

Lecture Thursday, February 11, 2016

It’s that old, procrastinating friend which the Germans call the ‘inner Schweinehund’. We all know him. Some of us have a miniature poodle, others nothing less than a Great Dane. But the older we get, the more firmly we have to control this doggish aspect of ourselves if we’re going to stay fit and active into old age.

Sonia Lippke, Professor of Health Psychology at Jacobs University Bremen, will be revealing just how to achieve that in her lecture at 7 pm on February 11, 2016 at the Universum®.
This event is part of a program accompanying the special exhibition entitled ‘EY ALTER’.

You can also view the special exhibition itself between 6 and 7 pm for a fee of €5.

*Literally: ‘Putting a leash on your inner Schweinehund’. Inner Schweinehund (pig-dog) is used in German to refer to one’s weaker, procrastinating self.
