On the evening before the official Foundation Festival of the Ostasiatischer Verein Bremen e.V. (OAV), Jacobs University invites to the traditional reception in the honor of the OAV, the East Asian Association of Bremen. Expected at the campus of the international university are high-ranking representatives from politics and diplomacy, academics and business.
The guest speaker for the evening is Fabian Jintae Fröse, Professor of Personnel Management with a focus on Asian Business at the Georg August University of Göttingen. He will speak on the topic of "Leadership in East Asia - China, Japan, Korea."
The guests will be welcomed by the President of Jacobs University, Professor Katja Windt, as well as Hans-Christian Specht, Chairman of the Ostasiatischer Verein Bremen e.V. Students at the English-language university will participate in the evening's activities through musical contributions and presentations; the event will end with a get-together. Close contact to the Asian continent is of great significance to the international university. About every fourth student at Jacobs University comes from the Asia-Pacific Region.
The reception held in English in the honor of the Ostasiatischer Verein Bremen e.V. starts at 6:30 p.m. in the ICC Conference Hall. Please register.
