"A little bit of China": Culture, Medicine, Social Economics and Culinary Arts

Speaker: Tiachan Wang

Originated along the Yellow River more than 4,000 years ago, the Chinese civilization is one of the four oldest civilizations in the world. During the process of power change among the dynasties, a trail of rich culture and tradition had been created. "A little bit of China" will bring you on a short cultural journey about China's geography, traditions, philosophy, food, and the Chinese language.

Each year on or around the 20th of April the United Nations commemorates the International Chinese Language Day. On this day the Chinese language is bought into the spotlight  around the world with lectures, poetry readings, literature workshops and concerts. English for JU invites everyone  to attend this special evening of  Chinese language and cultural highlights.

English & German for JU is an informal multilingual forum with changing topics each week.
