Jacobs University Alumni Homecoming Weekend
The Jacobs Homecoming tradition celebrates all the Jacobian generations of the past and connects them to the present. The Jacobs Alumni Association and University are working hard to create an unforgettable Homecoming weekend – by recreating the Jacobs “experience” in just three days.
This year is especially memorable, as our young university experiences a memorable milestone, and we will welcome three reunion classes back to campus for the first time. Class of 2004, our pioneers, class of 2009, and class of 2014 will be celebrating their 15th, 10th and 5th anniversaries during this year’s Homecoming festivities.
Many aspects will remain as in earlier years, most notably the combination of Open Lectures, Homecoming with the Career Symposium on Friday. We are anticipating the highest attendance rate at this year’s Fundraising Dinner, which will be hosted at the Strandlust Hotel in Vegesack. All activities are open for all alumni and friends of alumni, except of course the General Assembly of the Alumni Association, which is of course reserved for members only.
We look forward to welcoming the past generations of Jacobs back to campus!
