Exchange and networking – this time online
As usual, the Jacobs Career Fair offers the direct contact between companies, organisations and students/alumni of the Jacobs University and also to students from other universities of Bremen – but this time online. Present your job offers such as internships and interesting research projects.

1-1 Meetings and career information
Three weeks before the Fair starts, students have the possibility to inform themselves about the participating companies and request appointments for 1-1 meetings. During an individual interview the applicant will have the chance to get in touch with their dream-employer.

Company Presentations
Participating companies and institutions have the additional opportunity to exclusively present their business to a relevant student audience. Company presentations allow for employer branding as well as for the dispersion of information on current programs and projects.

Start Ups
Every year the Jacobs Career Fair introduces successful alumni start-ups of Jacobs University. In 2019, 10 Jacobs Alumni presented their successful stories of entrepreneurship and simultaneously inspired future Jacobs graduates. The upcoming virtual Career Fair will also allow this kind of exchange – but online.

Workshops and career conversations
The program of the Career Fair consists of different workshops and events around the topic „career“. Experienced experts from Human Resource Management and personnel development and many Jacobs alumni gave insights from a first-hand perspective and also answered various questions. The Career Fair program consists of various workshops and sessions on career related topics. Experienced experts from the area of human resources, will answer questions about application strategies, entrepreneurship and labor market needs.
Foster your international recruiting

The specialty chemicals corporation headquartered in Essen, Germany is one of the growing number of companies that use the annual on Campus Career Fair presenting themselves to potential employees.
Worldwide enterprises exhibit on the campus of Jacobs University along with regional companies and freshly founded start-ups: The annual Jacobs Career Fair is facilitating contacts between students of Jacobs University and potential employers from the widest range of areas.
The list of exhibitors includes large international companies such as Microsoft, Tesla, AB InBev, KPMG, Barry Callebaut, and Roche, as well as regional firms, like the dairy enterprise DMK Group, and leading names in research such as the Alfred-Wegener-Institut, Marum, and Fraunhofer Mevis.
The Career Fair has grown into a popular networking platform for exhibitors, students, and numerous alumni. Companies are invited to give presentations and meet young talents for general information or application interviews.
