Life at Jacobs University Bremen is likely to be a period of intellectual and cultural stimulation, self-exploration, and career development.
Students tend to assume new roles, face new challenges, and even come to question some of their own values and beliefs.
The goal of our service is to actively assist students in resolving existing problems, preventing potential problems and developing new skills that will enrich their lives and help to cope with challenges.
Our services for students include psychological counseling, life coaching, mediation, support groups, workshops, awareness campaigns and many more interesting offerings. We also provide expert advice and consultations for faculty and staff. All our services are free and confidential.
One of our offers is JTalk, a safe virtual space where a limited number of pre-registered participants can express any mental wellbeing issues related but not limited to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. It is hosted by Jacobs Counselors and their student assistants, who will moderate the talk, facilitate the peer-to-peer sharing of ideas and give own inputs on the topics raised.
JTalk takes place every Monday from 13:00-14:00 h.
