A home away from home

At Constructor University all of our first year undergraduate students do not only study but also live and learn together within one of our four colleges on campus and are surrounded by caring staff who provide ongoing support throughout the Constructor University journey.

Over the course of the years, each college community has developed its own character, a spirit that can be felt particularly during sports and arts competitions. Each of the colleges also organizes a wide variety of student-driven events during the year such as large cultural festivals like the Deepawali Festival of Lights or Chinese New Year, and educational events like the Global Issues Forum or Country Information Days.

Our location - maritime and well-connected

Constructor University is located in the north of BREMEN, GERMANY—a city with a maritime atmosphere and over 1,200 years of history. It’s home to the “Freimarkt,” Germany’s oldest fun fair, and the traditional Christmas Market is a popular destination. Centrally located in Europe with an international airport close to the city center, Bremen is an ideal starting point for trips to destinations such as Berlin, London, Paris, Rome, and Amsterdam. Bremen is also Germany’s eighth-largest industrial hub with over 350 high tech international brands within the aviation, aerospace, maritime and automotive industries. Our Career Services Center connects students to a vast network of these local, as well as regional and global employers through career fairs and various recruiting events.

Hi there, I’m Ryan Mrowka and I am the Regional Manager for Constructor University’s recruitment activities in U.S. and Canada.

I am originally from a small city in New York, but I have lived in several places along the American east coast. I served in the U.S. Army and taught high school history for over a decade before moving my family to Bremen. I love that Constructor University gives me the opportunity to connect with people from around the world. When I am not recruiting, I enjoy playing with my kids and watching or playing soccer (I mean “football”).
