Undergraduate Student Address: Eleanor Cwik and Wyatt Peoples
Meet Eleanor
Eleanor Cwik is graduating with a degree in Integrated Social Sciences with a minor in psychology. At Jacobs University, she was able to grow her organizational and leadership skills as managing director of the Society, Media, Politics Media Center, and part of the Jacobs Startup Competition team. In addition, she has shown her commitment to the Jacobs community and their well-being through her role as a J-Peer.

Throughout her time at Jacobs, she deepened her love for learning and discovered her passion for teaching. This has led her to decide to pursue teaching and instructional design opportunities in India and Nepal in this upcoming year. Over the next year, she will be completing an internship with a local social initiative committed to the empowerment of women and children in developing countries. She will be traveling back and forth from Germany to assist in three different projects in India and Nepal.

Meet Wyatt
Wyatt Kim Peoples studied both the Earth and Environmental Sciences as well as the Integrated Social Sciences at Jacobs. A few things he is proud of from his time at Jacobs University include captaining and co-founding the martial arts club, leading a Community Impact Project which intersected athletics and youth in Bremen, and having the opportunity to work as a Sports Advisor in the university's gym. His time at this university has given him the stories and connections that he hopes last a lifetime.

He looks forward to continuing his education, learning new skills, and traveling with those whom he loves, all in the coming years. He is extremely grateful to those that showed him compassion while at Jacobs. He is looking forward to seeing where his fellow graduates go!

Graduate Student Address: Abdul Moeez Qureshi
“What defines me? An attitude of never giving up.” Born with a speech disorder, Abdul Moeez Qureshi has now been selected to deliver the graduation speech for the class of 2022. As someone who was always the quietest person in any room, he is now a person who loves the attention and the spotlight. Hailing from Pakistan with a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a passion for data science led him to pursue his Masters in Data Engineering at Jacobs University. While at Jacobs, he was selected for the Roche Jacobs University study cooperation program, and is currently writing his Master's thesis in cooperation with Roche as well.
