The aging brain – invitation to the event with Professor Ben Godde

March 25, 2022

The brain is a network that is constantly renewing itself and linking itself anew. Its aging process can be controlled with targeted training, with movement, with physical activity. Everyone therefore has a certain amount of control over maintaining their brain functions.

Neuroscientist Professor Ben Godde will talk about how this can be achieved, about healthy aging, training floors and the latest findings in brain research at an event on April 8, starting at 12.00 a.m., in the Eastwing of the Information Resource Center (IRC) on the campus of Jacobs University. It's not all talk: Professor Godde and his research associate Amir Jahanian Najafabadi will also demonstrate methods used in neuroscience for studies of the brain and psyche. The audience will be encouraged to participate with puzzles and other neurocognitive activities. The student organization "Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Society" (INS) at Jacobs University Bremen is the organizer.

For COVID-19 reasons, participation is limited to 30 people. Registration for the approximately three-hour event is therefore requested. Refreshments will be provided.
