Excellent! International Psychologist Award for Professor Klaus Boehnke

Klaus Boehnke, Professor of Social Science Methodology at Jacobs University Bremen, has received the Award for Distinguished Contributions to the International Advancement of Psychology for 2022 from the American Psychological Association (APA).

APA is the largest psychology organization in the world. The award recognizes Boehnke's "sustained and enduring contributions to international cooperation and to the advancement of knowledge in psychology," according to the APA's citation.

The distinction is to be presented at the APA Convention in Minneapolis, USA, in August 2022. Boehnke is Professor of Social Science Methodology at Jacobs University Bremen since 2002 and was Vice Dean of BIGSSS, the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences, from 2007 to 2017. This inter-university institution of doctoral education is jointly run by the University of Bremen and Jacobs University.
