Scientists will discuss the role of media in shaping communities, identities, and integration at a conference at Kadir Has University, Istanbul, on December 10 and 11.
Media.Bridge.Cultures was initiated and organized by Dr. Özen Odağ, media psychologist from Jacobs University, and Cigdem Bozdag from Kadir Has University. The conference is supported by the German Ministry of Education and Research and takes place as part of the German–Turkish Year of Science. It will also address the transnational bridging functions of the media as connecting agents between cultures and countries.
