It was an amazing feeling to see how happy and thankful children can be and there were many moving moments – for those who received and for those who gave the presents. 327 parcels changed hands and were curiously and joyfully unwrapped from the kids at the daycare centers Neuenkirchener Weg and Fillerkamp during the “Make a Wish” campaign.
The program goes back to an initiative of the Rotaract Clubs at Jacobs University, cooperating partners include Vegesack Marketing and Epsymo e.V. – a parents’ association for the promotion of the psychomotor development of children. The kids wrote down their wishes which were attached to Christmas trees on campus and in the north of Bremen. Everybody could pick a wish up and fulfill it. A big thank you to everyone who participated in making the Christmas wishes of the children come true!
