  • Current Microbiology: The Antibiotics War, 14:00 - 15:00 CET

    The massive use of antibiotics in medicine and veterinary medicine has led to the emergence of antibiotics resistance mechanisms in pathogen microbes. Antibiotics research does to appear to be economically attractive to the pharmaceutical industry. In consequence, researchers need to find, characterize and identify novel bioactive compounds from natural resources such as plants or other microbes. In order to do this, we need to understand the mode of action of such novel antibiotics and the way how microbes develop resistance mechanisms.

In addition, they will share do's and don'ts about student jobs during your studies.
